Unit 2: Conceptual frame-work or life skill education
Meaning and definition of life skill education, Pillars of education, LSE for well-being for civic engagement, Disaster management, Perspectives, opportunities and challenges in application of LSE.,
Unit 3: Communication skill
Definition, need and importance, affecting factors, Barriers of communication, types of communication, styles of communication, effective communication techniques, listening and types of listening, tips for public speaking effectively, Application and resume preparation, Interview facing, Group discussion
Unit 4: Health and attitude
Balanced diet – healthy habits- components of Balanced diet – Physical fitness techniques, Personal hygine, Gadgets addiction – shadow hunters – positive Impact & Negative Impact – causes and consequences – how to handle digital, Telephone etiquette
Unit 5: Attitude building
Manners and Etiquette, Self esteem, self control, self respect, self awareness, self acceptance,EQ,SQ,IQ, Emotions, stress and strain, Conflict resolutions, steps and stages, Positive thinking, understand self, Receive criticism and complaints positively.
